  • The 36 (green) + 38 (red) Gauge has 3 barbs a side - starting and shaping
  • The 40 (blue) Gauge has 2 barbs a side - detail. The 42 (gold) Gauge has 1 barb a side - fine detail


Felting needles are brittle, and are therefore easily broken. To reduce breakages use the needle in a straight in, straight out motion. The needle is best not bent, wiggled or put under a lot of pressure. As a general rule if the needle will not enter a surface with ease do not force it. These needle now fit both clover handles and all heidifeathers wooden handles

These needles arrived quickly.The storage container is wonderful! They don’t smell bad (like the cheap ones I have) The color/size guide is super helpful! They also fit in my different handle holders.My felting has improved greatly with these needles! Thank you!
