I bought these for the needle holders as I liked the color assortment to assign each a needle type. They work great and the needles actually exceeded my expectations. They tend to break a bit more easily than my high end ones but they get the job done. Price is great too.

I was looking for the 42 ga needles, and I really like the different colored handles so I can color code the needle sizes.

Great starter kit, although I wish the smaller needles (40 and 42 guage) were easier to distinguish. Also, the needles in the handles aren't labled. Based on the size, I think they're either 40 or 42, but I am unable to tell for sure which size they are. I wish the individual needles were color coded, as many other brands are. I wish I had gone with another, simply for that reason. Still a fantastic product! just having to color code them on my own now.

I usually buy my needles from Sarafina Fiber Arts. I got this kit mainly for the 4 color-coded holders. I don't expect much from the needles, haven't used them yet. As a beginner, you are going to break needles anyway, so this is a great starter kit. Great value. Nice holders

These felting needles are the higher quality that stays sharp longer and are less likely to break. Previously I used needles without a handle but these do make it easier and I can grab the size I want based on the handle color. Helpful note: turn needles around and you can store them in the handle and protected between sessions.
