The dew heater is kind of a lower-end product, as can be seen from the price, but it works fine. It comes with an LED dimmer, good for 2 amps, to control the heat. It looks to me like it can draw just a little over 2 amps, though. It seems to do a good job, and I doubt I will ever be running it full-tilt in the real world. If it is cold enough to need that much heat, it's too cold for me to be out in it. I'm new to dew heaters, coming from the desert, and I don't have it figured out yet, but there is a switch to turn it on and off, and before that in the DC input wiring is the dimmer. I need to get used to using the switch to turn it off rather than the dimmer knob.
