The quality of build, along with the extremely useful adapters made this a real bargain. I’m very happy with it.

As you might expect from a copper cable of this gauge, this is a stiff cable and heavy even at 68 degrees. Still, it is very manageable as long as you take your time winding it back up.The included carry strap makes it much easier to move the cable where you need it after taking it out of the protective case. The case is well made and holds the cable and the adapters with ease. The zipper can be a pain because it is designed as a moisture stop seal so you have to ensure that the flap is inside before zipping.Because this is a regular cable without fixed marine type connector (the twist lock you put into your RV) you can actually use this as an extension to the cord you may already have! GREAT in some older state and Federal parks where power can be located at the entry to the campsite instead of at the end and on the side. The adapter that allows you to use this cable on a twist lock on the trailer is a 90 degree offset. This removes a lot of strain off the side of your camper unit. The side of my Airstream was actually deflecting in with the old cold with out the offset and now there is no deflection!!The color of this with the stripe makes it easier to see and not trip over.

More flexible compared to the 50 amp Umbilical cord my RV came with.Plugs (14-50R / P) are well made brass prongs / inserts Quality Molded into the cord itself. Plug ends have "UL" branding. Male ends come with plastic protective covers.Cord: Not cutting it open to see what gauge the wires are or if solid copper. But based on the outer stamping for Voltage & Amps it would have to contain stranded copper wires and at Minimum 3 each # 6 & 1 # 8 wires (# 6 for Hots & Netural, # 8 for Ground) This is the Industry standard for 50 amp RV cords.Other items include: plastic carrying strap, Protective carry bag (not super quality but works) 2 adapters (1 for 50 -30 amp service and 1 for 50 amp to Generator). I didn't purchase for the adapters as I won't be utilizing external Generator and I have 30 amp adapter already just in case but don't use it.Cost wise: One of the lower cost I have searched and with the additional items makes a better deal.

Although this is a typical STW jack cord it is well constructed and comes with adapters for 30amp and twist lock connections. It comes with a nice bag along with a plastic carry strap to use without the bag.Since it is STW it is very stiff but should be fine on hot sunny days. Nearly unusable for below freezing winters. The price reflects the STW as if you want a good soft flexible cord you would need to get an SOW, SOOW etc. But the price is really high compared to these cheaper cords.Knocked it down one star because the bag has an obvious defect that should have never made it past any quality control. The carry strap is accidently sewed to the construction of the bag. You can see this in the pictures. The bag is actually large, and think will fit another 15' cord we have as a spare together.

This cord is heavy to haul around, but is excellent quality. The fact it comes with a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter, and a twist-lock adapter is an extra added attraction. The need for an extension cord rarely arises, but if it does, nothing else will work. And if you don't have a generator, you'll have some scrambling to do. Our extension cord has rarely been used, but we have had to pull it out a couple times.
