It measured fat on my calipers and mic by .0001 inch, plenty accurate for the work I'm doing. It's good to have and the price is right.

I tried this against three calipers: a Mitotoyu and a couple of Chinese knockoffs. They all read 25.00mm. Not too shabby.

Almost perfect. It’s 0.001” off. No biggie for what I do.

Measured this with a calibrated Mitutoyo Digimatic caliper and it measured 25.00 mm. I don't have the capability to measure it any more accurately. I wish it came with a certificate of accuracy or even had a specification listed, but it's cheap enough.

I was prompted by Amazon to review this item.I got this standard rod to check a new digit caliper.I measured a minimal deviation from the 25mm reference length (25.01mm). Is the rod correct with a caliper error? Is the caliper correct, but this rod is slightly off? I do not know, but at least I can believe both are close enough for what I need.So YES, this is a decent tool to around in case I drop my calipers & need to know if they still work.
