Tested with multi meter and was found to be fine - continuity perfect even when stretched. Used on older Nikon, worked fine. Went back to my current X-T5 and it worked fine WHEN THE CAMERA ATTACHMENT SCREW WAS ALL THE WAY IN AND TIGHT !!!! Took dozens of tests - all worked fine, again even when stretched to max length ( the whole purpose of getting this cord ). Test throughly before negative reviews !!!!

The one I received did not have a right angle 2.5mm plug.
