How to Use?
1. Attach the off camera shoe cord.
Slip the camera connector of the TTL Cord into the camera's hot shoe all the way.
2. Secure the off camera shoe cord.
On the camera connector, slide the lock lever to the right. When the lock lever clicks in place, it will be locked.
3. Detach the off camera shoe cord.
While pressing the lock-release button, to slide the lock lever to the left and detach the off camera shoe cord.

Came defective and not working properly. The flash base contacts were shorting with the movable spring clip. I pulled out the spring clip and bent it away from shorting with contacts. Still can happen though at any time.

I had a similar cable (different brand though) before that got stuck on the camera hot shoe and I ended up break open the top part of the cable to release the retaining pin. So I was reluctant to order another non-oem cord. This cable seems to be solid made and the cable locking mechanism on the camera hot shoe is different than other cables I have used. This one has sweeping or sliding mechanism that travels the entire width of the cable head. Cable retaining pin on the camera hot shoe slides in and out smoothly. Cable length is perfect for using flash camera on a portable camera bracket. Since I had this cable for a very short period of time, I can't predict the long term use and hence one less star. After using it 10-15 more time without any issues, I'll update my review to 5 star. This cable is couple dollars expensive than few other cables available on this site but add'l money spent is worth in my opinion.

i’m a wedding photographer and i wanted a corded way to keep my flash off camera. i have wireless triggers but this is so much easier to just attach and go when you’re in a hurry. affordable and compact, i highly recommend for a busy flash-using photographer.

Item works well.It is too tightly wound with little give.Tried to move away from camera before it pulls back and falls over.Not very practical.

I bought it to fit on a Stroboframe bracket to get the flash source high to shoot my grandsons wedding.Unfortunately my Nikon 810 camera is too large to turn vertical in the frame so I can't use it. It did work and I might try it on another stroboframe but that frame does not rotate, it was used on my Hasselblad which did not need to rotate. I will play around a bit when I get time but the cord did work as advertised and at the price it was worth me trying it out. Good quality unit don't be afraid to buy it.
