Like another reviewer, I'm using this to add some storage to a Harbor Freight tool cart. Works well enough for this, just holding my less-used tools and extra sockets/wrenches.I would get something more expensive if you're planning on putting any real abuse into it- the sheet metal is thin, the drawers don't sit quite level and the lock (while smooth) feels flimsy.Definitely would be good enough for the workbench at home.

As other have commented the drawers did not function out of the box. I am familiar with this type of slide. The solution was to remove the drawers from the slides and reinstall them correctly. No tools no modifications, it just needed to be assembled correctly. It is just poor quality control at the factory. Perhaps that's why it was so much less than the competition.

Just received this mid chest following a 7 day delivery time. It arrived undamaged.I like the chest and it will certainly fit my needs nicely.The only issue is the key lock turns but will not lock the drawers and this is a huge issue for me.I have contacted Stanley for advice on correcting this issue.** Update 11-30-2022**I finally received a call from Stanley who referred a company called Waterloo. These people were as helpful as a pay toilet in a diarrhea ward. I was told to "Bend This and Bend That" - completely worthless.It's too much agro to return this to Amazon so all things considered, I'm keeping the chest and plan to add a more robust locking mechanism myself.If you decide to purchase a Stanley product don't plan on receiving any type competent customer support. You're pretty much on your own.

The drawers were broke and not fastened correctly.The area bye the drawer was bent in Al the way across.I would have sent it back but I opened it at work.Will think twice about placing another order.I don't have the time to swap out orders.

I read some of the reviews and was hesitant to order it. It came in perfect working order as advertised. No complaints here.

The seller is fine - very prompt, cooperative and helpful. They probably should have caught some deficiencies in the hardware - but this may have been drop-shipped.The product is another matter. Of the two boxes received, each had one drawer completely inoperable due to poorly fitted/unsecured tracks. On one of the boxes the drawer lock bar fell out when I opened the shipping box - it had never been assembled to the lock. I had to remove the lock, insert the piece correctly, and re-install the lock. I had to dismantle and reset the tracks for both drawers in both boxes to get them to function properly. I finally resorted to drilling and riveting the tracks into place in the correct alignment to get them to work - the holding tabs are simply insufficient by themselves - poor design, exacerbated by rough shipping.
