The plastic pan this is replacing broke up while under the water heater. When the heater leaked so did the pan into the room below it. I was lucky I caught it quickly and stopped the flow of water. The plastic was breaking up like corn chips. This steel one should hold up much better. It's galvanized too.

Lightweight but does the job! I use this under my RV washing machine to protect the floor from potential leaks. So far I've had nothing leaking, but I would rather be safe than sorry and the price of the pan is less than the price of replacing the floor if the thing should leak. I noticed other sizes for people who need a bigger pan! Great product.

This company and this product are both FANTASTIC and better than advertised. And they got my order out immediately...it was an excellent experience and even greater product. I installed a 2nd floor stackable washer and dryer and wanted this galvanized pan underneath in case there was a flood or problem upstairs under the washer and water flowed...this product was perfect for the application.

We needed a drain pain for our washing machine that would fit in our cabinet. The plastic options we found in our local hardware stores were all slightly too large due to the angle of the edges. This pan came in multiple sizes and has straight edges. We found one that fits perfectly and appreciate that it’s not plastic.
