The design of this product is sturdy and it looks good. However, when I used it, it got stuck without fully compressing the caliper. I don't know why. I had to resort to using my manual dual caliper compressor, quite cheaper but it got the job done. I wish the tool works but I have passed the return window I think.The video showed a different operation of this tool than what I actually saw. I purchased the item in July and never had an opportunity to use it until last month, and I'm not impressed with it.

They are trash and broke on the first use. Had them replaced and still broke and now I'm stuck with it. Don't buy!!!!!

This tool hurts to use after you use it everyday constantly… it works okay and for certain situations it’s pretty good, but I’ve switched to the ratcheting type brake spreader since the constant pressing of the handles of this tool to spread pistons will wear out your palm.

For thirty years I've used pry bars, screwdrivers, pliers, c-clamps, caulk guns, etc... Best $40 I've ever spent!

Did not hold up to a dual piston caliper. First time using it, had to apply massive pressure, uncomfortable to use. Would probably work fine on a single piston set up. Broke using it on 1 caliper.
