I didn’t buy the NYXOVA Disc Brake Pad Installation Spreader for working on a car, but rather for a different task that required spreading something else. It worked just great for that! The tool is sturdy, easy to use, and got the job done perfectly. It’s clearly well-made and versatile enough to handle more than just automotive tasks. Works great for cars and trucks but too big for motorcycle calipers. Otherwise a good tool.

Simple mechanism but it does its job just fine. Allowed me to do a trackside brake pad swap in less than 20 minutes on fixed open-top calipers.Remember to take the cap off your brake reservoir and stuff some towels around it. Pressing the pistons back in will tend to overflow it.

This tool does everything that it’s intended to do. Good value, easy to use and small enough that it is easy to store away. You can also use it to clamp something down so it can be used for other things.

Bought this to change pads on my hayabusa. The product arrived filthy, scratched up, and oily, I had to use gloves just to unbox.The other thing is that it didn't fit whatsoever. I had to remove the bottom holder piece and jimmy it in, just to get it in the caliper.Lastly, after it was in the caliper, the large metal pieces started bending when I was trying to use it. Literally bending before somewhat moving the pistons, but not all the way back because of the bending.Definitely buy another one.

I use this to change the back brake pad on my motorcycle and it worked very well. It’s simple and effective and the price was great when I got it. It’s a solid tool that I will continue to use for all my motorcycle brake pad changes.

Tried to use this. Nuts were loose out of the box. Tried to use it on a caliper, immediately bent out of shape. Absolute waste of money. Complete garbage.
