Designed to fit all normal and small ear canals. Not recommended for large ear canals.
Titan Tactical's 29 NRR are one of the only removable filtered ear plugs available on the market that are designed for shooting. They protect your hearing without interfering with your ability to hear routine sounds or conversations. Their triple flanged-stem design fits most people and provides a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 29dB. Sounds, at safe levels, are allowed to pass through into the ear canal, while potentially harmful noises (above 85dB) are reduced via a proprietary design that incorporates a special easily removable high-impact noise-reducing filter. This high-impact filter in the stem of the ear plug acts like a trampoline for noises that occur with more force than regular sounds, thus making these earplugs an effective hearing protection solution for military, tactical law enforcement, hunters, construction, manufacturing, and maintenance applications.
Utilizing state-of-the-art, sound level-dependent hearing protection technology, noises over a damaging threshold are bounced away and the rest of the surrounding sound enters the ear plug and is funneled through to your ear drum. This preserves the clarity of the sound that you're hearing and allows you to hear warning sounds and conversation without having to remove the ear plugs. Communicating at normal levels and maintaining auditory environmental awareness can be challenging when using conventional hearing protection in quiet and low levels of noise.

I was torn between the bullet shell case and plugs or this product. I chose this one because it was just a few dollars cheeper and they didn't have that much information on them.Needless to say I am very happy with this product, as it fits in my pocket nicely with zero discomfort. After a couple of days it was the perfect addition because the utility and convience of the case could easily be overlooked by someone who wants to carry around a rife round on their Keychain . The case fits the earplugs wonderfully and the plugs do their job with very little discomfort. The plugs themselves are bright orange and suitable for a loud environment or the range, however I would suggest ear muffs over them for added protection, because they did tend to go a little deeper in my ears than I aticipated. However they still fit snug for me and have done their job thus far very well. So those of you who have larger ear canals, be warned, these are a universal size and you may be digging in your ears to get them out. Finally I want to bring this review to a closing by adding that the top of the case screws off and has a waterproof O ring which makes this an ideal product for those of us who doesn't want to clean their carrying case frequently, or the plugs themselves, before use.And lastly, the case is metal and the threads are a little rough at first but that's because you have to grease them when you first pull it out of the package. A little WD-40 on the threads and the top screws on and off like a dream. No machining imperfections whatsoever.Absolutely, I would recommend to coworkers or friends who frequent concerts or enjoy shooting.

Throughout my 25+ years of shooting I have used every type of ear protection known to man. For the last year I have been switching between Delta Track disposable ear plugs and AOSafety Disposable ear plugs (see pictures). They both are great at blocking out sound but they both need to be removed between calls because I cannot have a clear conversation with either in my ear. They are also not made for long shooting sessions because they tend to get uncomfortable. So I wanted to find something that would only block out the loud sounds. Titan Tactical's ear plug stated that you can hear normal sounds but will reduce loud sounds like gun shots. My first trip was to an indoor range. If anyone is familiar with the Nassau county indoor range in Uniondale, NY you know it is only 30 yards so I took my 9mm Beretta CX4 and my Remington 870 shotgun. First was with the 9mm and the ear plugs worked flawlessly. I was even able to talk to my friend with no reduction in his voice. I had my doubts when it was shotgun time but to my surprise they work pretty well. I only shot 15 shells but if I was going to do more I most likely would have put on a pair of full earmuffs. A week later I took a trip down to the Brookhaven outdoor range with my Remington 700 in .308. They have 50 and 100 yard lanes that is perfect for a nice 100+ round shooting session. I out in my Titan ear plugs then put my Mpow Ear muffs over them (the Mpow is a steal at $11). I shot over 120 rounds and had my Titan Tactical plugs in the whole time with no discomfort. Overall they are a great low-cost pair of ear plugs that come with a great heavy-duty metal case. I am very happy with them and for the price you can’t go wrong.

All around great product, great design and very affordable. A gem on the market, the only complaint along with a few customers would be an additional bigger size for those of medium/Large size canels. One of the main issues is that the product is too small in the canels of others which reduces their effectiveness. Other than maybe some additional color , black , dark green etc, due to different environments.

After loosing my old shooting ear plugs, and much research I purchased these Titan Tactical 29NRR Reusable Shooting Ear Plugs w/Removable Noise Filter because they can hang on any of loop on my work vest (Radians SV55 Class 2 engineer vest with padded neck and cargo pockets) or fit into the pockets. I work along side/inside Locomotive Train engines and I use these sometimes along with the Walker's Razors Slim 27dB NRR Passive Earmuffs to help protect/save my hearing. These plugs are safe and work well for me and I clean 2 to 3 times a week in Dawn dish soap. Remove the Noise Filter and drop in the soap solution and wash pat dry and back to work.

I use these as inner-ear protection at the range with Walkers on the outside. Amazingly helpful, I actually have to keep an eye/ear out for cold-range calls because I can barely hear them. I messed up my hearing pretty bad as a young kid going to metal shows every weekend without hearing protection (in rooms often the size of a garage or smaller with amps/PAs literally right in front of me). Now, in my mid 30s I have mild tinnitus and hear a constant ringing sound. When my girl and I go to shows (I got a 2nd pair for her), we wear these just by themselves. You can still hear every note of the guitar, every hit of the drums, every word from the singer, but just not world-shatteringly loud. And you can always remove the small inner plug if you need more volume (I don't risk it).Absolutely recommend these, 10/10. I like them so much, I cerakoted both cases.

The sound isolation is good, we used these on loud motorcycles at high speed. However, they're too small for me and get stuck in my ear and have to be pulled out with tweezers often enough that I was worried then might rip and get stuck. I have them to my partner who has smaller ears, but she says they're painful to wear. They are very quiet, but we just can't use them
