When you crimp the connector on the lead, crimp the front one first. Once it is fully holding the lead, crimp the back one half way then press into the socket. That back crimp helps hold it in socket as you press it in. I was arrky able to crimp on 28 gauge conductor but it was marginal. I am sure 20 gauge would work better.

I’ve been seeing some are having difficulties getting the pins and sockets separated from each other, I use a small precision flush cut cutters and that in my opinion is the best tool to separate the pins and sockets, also having the correct crimper for these is highly recommended.

I had to use google to find out: the plastic sockets are slightly larger and the plastic plugs fit inside them. The male metal terminals go into the plugs and a female terminals go into the sockets.

I bought these connectors with the ‎HKS ‎YM-58BS crimp tool and they both performed great. These connectors do exactly what they're supposed to do. I would recommend.

I unplug and replug often and the pins don't lock into place very well within their housing so you have to wiggle the end in order to reconnect and I mean WIGGLE!!!

I love the molex connectors and have left them some good reviews, but these seem not to fit well. The end of one connector leg is longer than the other. It doesn't look like that in the picture.poor quality, although their smaller connectors are usually pretty descent.
