Pruners and pole unit came in plain brown box, without brand or manufacturer labeling. Product sent from company other than Amazon. Assembly was stiff and required effort in fitting components together. Batteries difficult to insert and release. Pole was not specific to this set of pruners, but a generic type. Safety button on pole handle stuck, holding actuator switch into grip, and required some effort to release. Finally, switch seems to work ok after repeated push and release cycles. Batteries required 5 hours initial charging, indicating that they were close to zero upon arrival. Assembled and then tested, the pruners and pole operated ok. Pruners were aggressive in test action. Worrying start before even being used, though. Update from wife - the main user of the tool - Great tool, so easy to handle and light weight. I was able to work much longer than usual because these pruning shears are so handy. The battery remained charged after 4 hours of work. The extender pole saved ladder time.

This has been a blessing for my 80 year old mother. I only wish it existed 50 years ago when she became addicted to yard work. It's convenient, lightweight, extremely powerful and makes cutting branches, vines etc. actually fun. Best gift for the yard I've ever given her!

This works great...very strong and cuts branches as expected. Easy to use...the length of the pole is long enough to not need a ladder even on the typical higher branches in most yards. Two batteries is a plus but I find the one lasts a pretty long time.

A game changer. Has enabled me to trim bushes and trees that I have not been able to work on with my old manual trimmers, hand saws, manual pole saw and trimmer head attachment. It's cuts the hardest woods with ease. I have made hundreds of cuts so far and the battery is showing full charge. It even comes with a second battery, extra set of blades with tools for replacement, very nice compact charger and a set of work gloves.For the money this is a winner. Could not recommend highly enough.

Everyone who tried it liked it, . The extension is not very long, only 5 or 6 feet but it works.
