OMG I love this setup for my Sony FDR X-3000! I use my action cam to record my travels and I have been looking for the perfect vlog setup that is sturdy, cheap, and not awkward to use. I did not want to buy the shooting grip sold by Sony as I find it to be too expensive costing about $40++. The camera itself was already expensive plus I had to buy the lens protector which is why I felt very hesitant in spending more money for the camera.But I am very happy I found this guy right here. Not only that I find it to be cheaper (about half the cost of sony shooting grip!), it also feels very sturdy, and much more functional. When I first got it, I was surprised that it came in a little box that is probably a 5x5 or 6x6. It was tiny I couldn’t believe it at first. I was expecting for a tall box because of how it looks like in the picture here in amazon. Anyway, it being small is much better because like I mentioned I use my action cam for recording my travels and this just means that it will be easier to pack and won’t take up too much space! With this setup, I can have my action cam attached, the remote, and an extra light or an external mic if I need them! Even sony shooting grip does not have that! I will try to post a video of how I set it up in a little bit. Hopefully you find this review and the photos helpful.

I use this for my go pro rig, for my cell phone and for my media light! I love it! Take it on vacation too! It's easy to lay flat in luggage or your carry on or personal bag! It's SUPER useful and gives you that steadiness that you need sometimes!

Well thought-out gadget. Its the only handle (so far) able to hold and film with both phone + gopro (and light on top). A bit cumbersome, but still much smaller than most gimbles.

Well made and feels good in the hand. Once you use it, you'll be spoiled. Use the photos of the grip to aid in assembling the few attachments.

It was worth every penny. I was not expecting the quality of this item to be as bad. Once I put it together it just didn’t do what I thought it was supposed to. The price was great for this item.

I like how it comes in parts so you add attachments as needed. Was only planning on using it for my iPhone and it does help create a more stable moving shot, but with all the attachments it's inspiring me to up my game and get a GoPro, light, and mic. You're not going to be professional grade using this, but you can definitely make better quality videos and it's small enough rig that it's handy and easy enough to carry around.

If you're looking for something quick and easy to use for emergencies or just budget filming, this is it. It's very solid and thick, not a cheap flimsy smartphone holder. This was made to last, and is very solid. I was worried about using this without a camera case, but once I tested it out I'm no longer worried. This is worth every penny.

This product is almost perfect for me. It is excellent, stylistic, and looks professional. I used it yesterday for the first time in the playground during my kid's birthday party. I faced two minor issues using the item.1. The phone camera catches the side of the action camera in all my long shots.2. The action camera holder screw is not tight enough.For the first issue, I tried to slide the phone on the mount as far left as possible so that it could not picture the action camera set in the front. All my photos taken by phone (long shots) show the action camera on its right side (Picture attached). Though I can quickly fix the images in post-production, fixing video footage is difficult.My second issue with the unit is that the screw doesn't hold the action camera tightly enough on its post. With little push/ accidental touch, the action camera shifts up or down. However, without unintentional touch, the action camera stays in its position.For the price point, this is 100% perfect. Overall, I am happy with the product.

Creo que el material, le falto solidez, si bien, tampoco es mas de lo que puedes esperar por lo que pagas, si se queda muy corto en la solidez de sus partes, no ajustan perfectamente. Pero en terminos generales, cubre su funcion

Fabulous accessory for my action cam. Real easy to set up. Quick attachment of camera and light. Fits my phone which has a metal case absolutely perfectly and is really secure. Grip is really comfy and light to use for extended periods.
