This tool makes quick work of scoring to join 2 pieces of clay. Also appreciated the fact that it hasn’t rusted and looks brand new after much use.

They work pretty much as expected, I use them for slipping and scoring to attach clay. I don't need two, but you can't beat getting two for that price, and it will be nice to have the extra if I lose one. I do wish the metal prongs were more evenly spaced, on both of mine, most of them are to one side with one random prong off to the side. I usually end up using the one lone prong instead, as the others are bunched too close together. I do still prefer it over a needle tool, though.

I ordered a tool kit for polymer clay which had a texture tool included. Extremely poor quality- returned those. Bought these separately. Far better quality at a decent price.

I bought two packs (so 4) of these tools since I tend to loose my tools while I'm working with them and thought this way I could save time not looking for them. However, I've found that I needed to buy the extra tools since the metal needles parts have started falling out of the tools (in less than one month). I do use these several hours a week, but I'd think they would hold up a lot longer than 18 days. So far two of the four tools are missing the metal needle part.I've had my old tool similar to this one for at least two years and it still has all of the needles....just gets misplaced on my work table! Worth it to spend a little more and get a better quality tool.

I use these tools for carving leather hard clay. They wear out quickly and the only way I could buy them before finding these was in a set with tools I do not use. I am happy to find I can buy them individually.
