The wire was loose but I adjusted it to fit into the groove where the wire is suppose to fit tightly.

I have only used this on like 5 projects and the wire is already loose and no longer making strong diagonal cuts. I have seen versions of these before and they worked amazing. Maybe I just got a dud. One of my instructors at the studio where I take classes suggested I try tightening it with a screw driver. I did try, but it didn't seem to help any. I may not be strong enough though to really tighten it.

I can’t really say how well it works as I haven’t tried it. However the person I gave it to seemed excited to try it out.
