I have a 8 Qt IP and it fits perfectly. I bought these as back ups. You know, the "just in case".. maybe I need to buy a bigger house with all my new kitchen toys, IP, Convection Oven, Dehydrator and new mixing bowls..a long with all the gadgets I bought for all my new toys! Looked everywhere I could think of, but couldn’t find the part that came with my Instant Pot Duo Plus. The one that came with mine fell down the garbage disposal. Although the outside is dented and pretty messed up looking, it still works well. But this started me thinking. I need a substitute back-up in case it ever stops working properly. Apparently, there are various designs and sizes of these Instant Pot seals. I wanted to have a spare in case it went down the disposal again or whatever. Contacting the manufacturer was of absolutely no help at all. Looking through Amazon and eBay got me nowhere. Apparently, mine is a one-off design, which may explain why it sold for about half price at the big chain store that has a yellow tag logo! But I love my cooker, and don’t want to replace it just because one little part happens to go bad in the future. Especially since I got this one so cheap.This part on Amazon looked virtually identical, and was the same size and design. The only difference being the addition of a handy little handle to release steam, plus an inverted slot protruding below the handle. As far as I could tell, the slot served no real purpose, except to make it unusable if your model of Instant Pot doesn’t have a matching slot for it to fit into. I’d hoped my lid had enough room for the protrusion, but it didn’t. So I pulled out my trusty Dremel, and ground it off. Voilà ! Works perfectly.I’m sure the manufacturer would say doing something like this is dangerous or unapproved or whatever. I say, so what? If they aren’t going to sell the part that fits, I’m going to do whatever it takes to get something else to work. Since the outside is simply hardened rubber, grinding off the protrusion was quick and easy. Even without a Dremel, it could probably be filed off manually in five or 10 minutes.I bought another part that looked the same in the photos, but the bottom was different. It wouldn’t seal properly at all. From the photos, I could tell this one had the same bottom my original did. The other substitutes did not show a photo of the bottom of their products. 🤔

Definitely did exactly what it supposed to do and super cheap so excellent buy I used mine on my yeti pressure cooker and it worked perfect. I’m assuming this would work perfect on an Insta pot as well or any other new or electronic pressure cooker that are out.

I had misplaced a steam vent. I was able to replace it, and now everything is working fine.

I was devistated when I lost the pressure release valve for my InstantPot. Rejoiced when I found these on Amazon. Snapped right on the lid and it works great. Plus, I got a two pack so I have a spare just in case I loose another one, AGAIN!!! I couldn't find these on the InstantPot site so, THANK YOU AMAZON!!!
