This was a great replacement after my light got eight by a rat or a mouse. I was pleased to see that the tails on this new connector were long enough to tie into the existing wire.

replaced 1157 sockets with these because the sockets kept getting loose and not working. put these in they fit perfect and the bulb is secure.

Bought this as a direct replacement on a 2006 Silverado. The splines which the bulbs are supposed to fit into are way off. There's no way to get the bulb into the socket without some extra work. I ended up cutting two of the splines completely off and using electric take to hold it in. I would have just sent it back but I like for my lights to work and I need them fixed now. I don't have time to fool around with returning poorly designed junk.
