As far as I’m concerned, this item is WORTHLESS. Purchased a 2L Smotivepro manual brake bleeder which came w/a 45mm adapter for the master cylinder & it worked on Mazda, but it has a 1/2†quick connect. The 43.5mm adapter for a Dodge that I recently purchased comes w/a 1/4†quick connect? Neither Amazon nor the manufacturer provide any info on quick connect sizes(why use 2 different sizes when the female quick connect only accepts 1/2â€)? There is a reducer inside of the 1/2†female adapter, so it cannot be changed to 1/4â€. If the manufacturer has a solution to this dumb idea, I’m ALL ears!

Had to add a gasket made from inner tube rubber sheet, doped with rubber cement, but holds air pressure adequately for operating a brake fluid changing pump. 1/4 price of those aluminum aftermarket adapters.

Purchased the 43.5mm set for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Adapter fits on the brake fluid reservoir without issue and the quality of the adapter feels solid. The problem is the gasket inside the adapter is not thick enough to make a seal. Once you start to pressurize the brake fluid dispenser the new brake fluid forces it’s way past the rubber gasket and leaks brake fluid all over the engine bay/ brake fluid reservoir/ master cylinder causing a nasty mess. Being in the middle of the project I had to improvise and add a thin layer of nitrile glove under the adapter gasket so the adapter could seal to the brake fluid reservoir without leaking. Will go to the junk yard and grab another OEM brake fluid cap to use the OEM rubber gasket in conjunction with the adapter and included gasket. Manufacturer needs to make the included adapter gasket just a little thicker.

Appears to fit well and hold pressure.With all of the low quality stuff on Amazon, I was pleasantly surprised that these caps fit AND hold pressure.Good deal.

Does not work on a 2013-2016 Ford Escape. It also seems to be quite a bit smaller than 43.5mm (maybe 40mm?), as this was not big enough to fit on my BFR, but a 42mm cap fit perfectly.

Put the cap on the master cylinder reservoir, began pumping and al.ost immediately, fluid began to leak out under the cap. Doesn't get a remotely tight seal.
