Telescoping antennas are always a bit fragile. I managed to destroy my original TinsSA antenna. This makes a good replacement and seems a bit sturdier. It is working fine for my application.

On a 7" Prism hand held TV that's at least 10 years old, works like new with this antenna. Was getting less channels than I did before and more time trying to find a signal. Tried cleaning the connections, didn't help. This one brings in more channels and doesn't lose the signal near as much. Can't complain about the price, Great Value.

I use these antennas for Frequency Coordination at an NCAA Stadium. The connector on the antenna broke at the connector before half-time. I didn't pay much for the pair of antennas but I didn't get much service out of it either. The center pin is very vulnerable to torsion stress and cannot take much torsion tension before failure. I can adapt it with a mounting plate so the antenna can be used again in a stationary configuration. It was not under much stress but I did adjust the antenna from time to time.If you use it in a permanently mounted stationary position, it might work out fine but not in a mobile environment. I knew though that the cheap price meant poor design and construction.Know that before you buy.

I purchased one of those lower priced SDR radios with the 7 inch screen, multi frequencies made in china by rip off dudes. I have used it in my repair service for several different operations, and had it laying beside me in my recliner. A few days back, I picked it up and the antenna broke off. So I looked for a replacement and found this. When it arrived this morning, I screwed it on the set and found it works much better then the one that came on the set. It is larger, longer and more sturdy. I am happy with it. Very satisfied.
