The cam and groove coupling is a simple and effective system to establish direct and perfect tightness between two elements (hose-hose, hose-fixed point). The connection is easily made by inserting the adaptor (male part) into the couple (female part). The locking is assured by the cams of the couple.

Hubby needed this part for some pump thing, and he said it works exactly as expected and the measurements/sizing is accurate. He likes that it is not metal, said it was very easy to install, and said it holds tight with no “playâ€. Basically, very good all the way around and he’d definitely but this again or use other fittings by Bitotu with confidence.Since there were two in the box and he only needed one, I’m going to use the other one to make an industrial plug in lamp using a rubber, outdoor rated bulb base already wired with 14AWG. I‘ll either solder additional wire and attach an industrial plug, cannibalize an existing light with the right gauge wire in its cord, or buy an appropriate lamp cord to finish up. A little scuffing up and some spray paint will tie this fitting in with the existing metal plumbing fittings I’m recycling.These fittings are not just functional, they are also attractive and I’m looking forward to the upcycling project.

I tested these 1.5 inch Camlock E fittings with my 1.5 inch poly tubing and everything fits like it should. I use theses primarily for agriculture irrigation, specifically with a K-Line pod system. I've run them up to 45 psi without any blowouts and drag 300 feet of tubing and pods by the fittings around a pasture. The pipe clamps included have a 7mm nut. Sometimes I'll run about three wraps of electrical tape between the first and second barb of the fitting's shaft to give the pipe clamp a little more to grab onto to make a really solid connection. Sometimes I'll use an angle grinder or a Dremel to cut off the extra pipe clamp tail so that it's not hanging out to snag things or cut me. These clamps will have about 1 inch of extra band once tightened. Solid parts. Very happy.

good fittings for making your own 2" hoses to connect 275 gallon water totes. I have totes for emergency water (for fire fighting mostly) and these let me make extension hoses (one of these male fittings and one female camlock fitting on the other end).

Got these for my husband. Not sure what he needed them for but he was thrilled. It’s definitely a guy thing. He went and used them on whatever he was working on and they fit perfectly.

I got these and of course had to order the other part to go with for my small irrigation pump. This will make it so much easier to disconnect everything when I am irrigating. Lifting the pump with the hose and foot valve is getting to be too heavy. These are made well with a gasket in them and will be perfect. They lock into place.

These are a great, lower-cost alternative to aluminum or stainless couplers. Plastic is lighter than metal options, and equally rustproof to aluminum or stainless. Same positive-couple, same leakproof seal.
