The description for this product says that it includes "one NPT female threaded end for connecting to an NPT male threaded connection" (which is what I needed to do). It also says '2" female buttress threads', and I guess the 'buttress thread' wins. Either way I got a fitting that I can't use and it's not worth my time to return it. Why does it say it has NPT threads? I am sad.
