Overall it works very well. My only minor comment (not really a complaint) is that it does slide down the side pretty easily. A little stronger magnets would be an easy fix for this but not a big deal and I would buy it again.

Easy to reposition. Keeps scoop handy for use. Good quality. You get two, which seems unnecessary as it would be difficult to lose one that is attached to your ice maker.

magnets can fall out and present a safety risk for children due to ingestion. CPSC has rules on magnets and warns of risks.

I think this is an excellent buy for two units. The scoop holders are very simple to apply, just pick a spot on the metal of the ice maker and attach. The magnets are very strong so no issues with the sturdiness.Originally, I was placing the scoop on the catch tray with a paper towel; I now like the space on the side where you can easily pick it up and neatly place back in the holder.I feel that one unit would have been sufficient with a slight price reduction but the price is great for the two.

These work ok, if your scoop is large enough, but the plastic scoop that came with my opal 1.0 falls right through. Luckily I have a larger stainless scoop.Additionally the quality control is not great. Both came with strings of hot glue clinging to them, and on one the magnet was not even properly set in the hole.They magnets are strong and do hold it well to the side of the ice maker.
