I'm a recently new, self-taught sewist so I'm exploring a lot of different tools to help me improve. These are great for keeping my sewing straight. I had tried to use a fridge magnet - lol - and it wouldn't stay straight itself, much less help me. These are perfect. And the magnet is very strong. Can't be beat for the price.

I did not get 2 pieces. Just one pink odd shape plastic with a very strong magnet. Not sure why it is shaped this way because it came with no instructions. I put it on my sewing machine with the straight edge on the seam line. I don't think it helps for curvy seams but if you have a long straight edge to sew it will help guide you. Especially if your vision is not as good as it should be and you have a hard time seeing the lines on the machine it will help. Also of note is that you cannot use pins that stick out from the fabric as they will bump the seam guide. Either orient your pins vertically along the seam or omit using them.

Magnet no placed where I can use it. I have a metal stich plate but bobbin cover and surrounding area is plastic on my machine

I don't normally sew too much, but when I do I like to have the items that will make my sewing job a bit easier and I do find that these magnetic seam guides are really helpful.There are 2 that come in a pack. One is pink the other a light green. One side has a measurement guide. My issue with that is I would have like to have the measurement guide on the lower bottom going from left to right as it is a seam guide.The magnet is very strong and will not budge when the fabric runs along the side of it. I do like it and better than tape.Excellent deal for 2 at $3.99. I am happy to have it in my sewing box

Handy little magnetic guide and even comes with two in case you lose one. The magnet is fairly strong. Didn't work as well on my old Bernina Record because although the whole body is metal it's an enamel coated metal so it didn't stick to the arm but did stick well to the small magnetic plate under the needle.

These clogs are comfortable, they have good grip, look good and they can be worn indoors or outdoors. I am wearing them around the house. I got my exact size and they fit fine. The buckle can be adjusted, there are three pre-punched holes and you can probably punch more if you wish. My only issue was that for the first few days I was shedding 'fur' around the house, better now.

Great addition to your sewing / quilting supplies. Easily attaches and gives you are handy guide to keep your seam consistent when piecing

I tried this seam guide as soon as it was delivered and it works great. There are two sizes. I found it is a strong magnet and did not move easily. I believe it is a good fabric guide and good quality. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for seam guide.
