These r the best kitchen aid devices I've seen in a long time. They make it so much easier to hold onto and slice small slippery veggies. Helps make straight, even slices of things like cucs, onions, summer sausage or ham.

As described, appears to be sturdy. Used it first time to slice onion. Had to apply a good amount of pressure to get the prongs into the onion, just fyi. Must play close attention when getting the guard on so as not to stab your hand.

I like these for slicing onions and tomatoes uniformly. The grip is nice. I gave the second one to my son for his cooking needs. I used to end up slicing my fingers but no more. I recommend this to others.

I love this tool, where has it been all of my life? Keeps slices uniform and your fingers out of the way of the knife. I have used it for potatoes, onions, tomatoes and garlic so far. Will be used extensively when harvesting my garden next year!
