I bought a few before this that were glass or some other material. These are perfect and fit most smaller bowls easily and great for the dishwasher and can’t break them.😃

These do the job, although the oval shape makes things a bit more difficult because the separator doesn't fit over some bowls. Other than the shape, these are very useful. They're easy to use. They're made of silicone, which cleans easily and is dishwasher safe. The separator itself has three holes for the whites to flow through while containing the yolk. It does the job and it does it well. No more back and forth between egg shells while hoping the yolk doesn't break. I like the fact that it comes in a pack of two, although I don't see a need for more than one. I might give the second one to my daughter or my sister at some point since I only use one of them. But if you have the need for two of these, it's a great value.Anything that makes my life easier is good by me and these fit that bill.

I've used a plastic one and sometimes they break in it, while this one seems better at letting the white separate out and only once did the yolk break.

I don't have a container that it fits over easily, so it's been hard to use. Several times the yolk has been pulled through with the whites, popping it and defeating the purpose. I would try a different style next time.

This egg separator works as described, but what I really like about it is that it’s oval and longer than most, so it sits across a measuring cup or small bowl without falling in. The durable silicone is soft, pliable, and easy to clean. It stores well, even in shallow drawers.

It makes for a much speedier 'by-gravity means' separation process.2) Does not come with a bottom collection bowl. Since these separators are oval in shape, it might prove to be a bit tricky to find a suitably-shape/sized container that will 'form-fit' exactly around the edges of the separator (without allowing any messy overflow onto a kitchen countertop).
