I was in search of toy swords because of my 5-year-old who became so engaged in sword fighting. We had a flimsy star wars lightsabers but they broke after few hard sword fights. This one is made of hard plastic and the grip very nice and comfortable to hold. The length is also perfect for a 5 year old and the medieval look is also a plus!

It's plastic, but not hard. It's the perfect size for a 3 yr old who is obsessed with playing swords. 2 for 2 Knights. Price is a bit much for what they are, but to see the look on my sons face was worth it.

These play swords have nice coloring and detail giving them a medieval look. They are short swords rather than long. Great for a costume or performance. Wouldn't really recommend for play if your child/children tend to get carried away. They are made with a thicker plastic than many other swords of this type. Makes them more durable.

My child needed to dress up as a Roman guard, and this plastic sword was perfect for the costume. It has withstood hours of play without chipping the finish or breaking. The sword also has a vintage look that fits the time period very well.

Super fun for costume / props. They’re very very lightweight, plasticy, so if you’re looking for more of a play sword these aren’t it. But the plastic feels durable and we haven’t yet damaged the finish. Looks great and recommend these if they fit your cosplay look!

When my son goes to visit his cousin, one of the first things he does after arriving is to go grab one of the play swords his cousin has. So, I got these for him for Christmas for use here at home. He uses the swords at his cousins to play out the Minecraft battles in his head, and he has a lot of fun with that. These swords will, undoubtedly, be props in that play here at home. They are lightweight, but appear to be stout enough to hold up to a lot of play.

They're black blow molded plastic, which then appears to be hand painted. They're tough and look very nice. They're pretty light, but the plastic is very hard and quite sharp. I'd say they're very nice toys for dress up, but not suitable for play fighting unless your kid has excellent restraint.

My son needed to dress up as an ancient Roman for a school project. This added sword really helped persuade him to wear a toga, which he was not excited about! The quality is great for a costume or prop but nothing beyond that.
