Randomly lost my old “ergonomic†4.5 hook. Went through my dozens of crochet hooks and had no 4.5s somehow so to Amazon I go! These are really comfortable to hold and the hook size is accurate and it works way better and is way better quality than my old ones. They were worth the couple of bucks and are really good comfortable hooks. I thought my old crochet hooks were good but these ones are better for my hands and work with the yarn better! I love it and now I can finally finish my cardigan and gloves :)

My sister came up to visit over Thanksgiving and tried to teach me to crochet. I bought these hooks to use after she left and took hers with her. She asked to see what I bought and promptly claimed one of them for herself. Sometimes I guess that's what a brother is for. My 98-year-old mother discovered how comfortable these hooks are and claimed the other one.So now I need to reorder to find out for myself how well they work and feel, but so far, they seem to be a big hit for the experienced yarn artists in the family.

These are my favorite type of hooks. You can't beat the price, and they are super comfortable on my hands to crochet with!

Works great! Love the handle all though it may be too long for some, meaning hook will seem shorter. Very sturdy.

I bought these for a group Amigurumi project our ski group did with Bernat Maker yarn. For everyone but me these were probably .5mm big with that yarn, but that's not the hooks fault. The reason I give 4 stars not 5 is these are not nearly as smooth as the Clover Amour Hooks I got for my wife and daughter. I used a Scotch Brite fine and extra fine abrasive pad to polish them which got them pretty close to the Clover hooks' finish. Still not quite as smooth and I don't like the shape quite as much as the Amour's which seemed a little more pointed to me and easier to use with very tight Amigurumi knots, but overall these work really well and they're a bargain.I'd buy again for a group project, but a Clover Amour hook cost about the same amount as a Big Mac, so if you only need one or two hooks and can afford the higher price, I'd consider the Amours. There is a noticable differency in quality.

My wife and I each have a set of Clover Amour hooks and totally love them. The head shape, handles and smooth finish of the aluminum make for an easy crocheting experience.Recently I started a project requiring a 6.5mm hook to achieve gauge. The 6mm in my set simply wasn't large enough, and another generic/clone 7mm was too large. We have a Clover 6.5 mm, but it's plastic and I hate using it since it is too "grabby" with acrylic yarn. We also have a Bates, but I don't like the head design.I did a search for "aluminum 6.5mm crochet hook" and this pair of hooks came up. Mine! I had them in hand a day later, and they work perfectly. The head design is a near perfect clone of the Clover Amour, and I'm a happy camper. Now my wife and I each have a nice 6.5 mm aluminum hook.
