Don't have to use a hammer, easier to use, works in tight places where a hammer wouldn't. Never going back.

This is my first time using this style of nail set, and i'll probably never go back for 99% of work. I can keep this in my pocket when doing other finish work, and seat problematic nails without having to keep a hammer on hand. Also works great for marking holes for drywall anchors if a product provides a paper template to hang on the wall first!

I never knew these existed, but they're great when you need them. Instead of a hammer and a punch, you've got both tools in one place with these. Great for taking hinges off of doors or doing finish nails into baseboards. It will take several more hits than with a real hammer for sure, but I hate getting up and going to the shed when I've got a smaller tool handy that will do the job. Not as good as a hammer and punch or hammer and screwdriver, but way less mass and size, and handy for several things. They don't have these at home depot or lowes, so it was a neat find.

I was surprised how useful this product has been when doing minor renovations around the house. It is definitely much easier to use than a conventional punch and hammer.
