Use these punches for installing or removing pins and shafts, or to align holes in components. The punch tips are precision-hardened, but the striking back ends of each punch is softened and tapered to best resist chipping. The surface of each punch features a ground finish to make the laser-etched size labels easier to read, and their hexagonal design fits securely in a punch holder or clamp. This set includes the 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", and 1/4" sizes.

Needed some new drift pins for work. These are the perfect sizes and they don't bend as easy as some other brands

I used these both for at home jobs and installing conveyors. They're very high quality and very stiff. I've made it a challenge to try and bend the two largest punches and it's proven to be difficult, but not impossible. Definitely more effort than required and won't bend if you're not seriously trying to bend them. Worth the money.

Oh boy, this is way better than I expected. These are indeed, heavy duty punches. I feel like Sisera doesn’t even stand a chance now. Jokes aside, these are definitely heavy duty and large. They appear to be made of carbon steel, and they look like they are made for some heavy duty industrial work. The taper on them is really good. I’m gonna give these a pass and say that they are awesome. The only thing is they might be too large for the project that I was hoping to punch, but that’s my fault not them.

I haven’t used these yeti but I know I will use them soon. There are places where the use of tapered pins are necessary to align items for the installation of fasteners. When you need one nothing else will do.

Also, these are about twice the size I was expecting them to be. Guess I should have paid attention to the description more closely. But I have been using a couple of them and there has been no deformation so far.There are no manufacturing defects and the finish details are spot on, as well. Definitely a good value in my book, for what I paid.

I'm in the UK and after tracking the punch-set delivery all the way from New Jersey (having assumed they were made in the USA), found out they were originally manufactured in Taiwan.Also, the taper finish could be a bit better.
