Im bad at losing keys so I ordered these keys as backups and had them cut for my 2000 mercury grand Marquis. I followed a YouTube video for another ford vehicle which showed me the easy process to program them. It took less then two minutes and they work just fine!

They both programmed in and work for the application. 1999 Ford Expedition.

Bought a used pickup with one key that couldn't hook to a keyring. These blanks allowed my local locksmith to make keys and then I programmed them. It was a little tricker to program than described - it took several attempts - but in reading up on this I don't think it was a function of the keys, just a function of the system that Ford uses on this particular pickup.

These key blanks are, or would be rather, awesome if i could just get someone to cut them for me. I have the Forscan program already on my laptop, been using it for a while. Am confident i will be able to mate these to my vehicle once they have been cut. What i have learned since purchase of these blanks is that most key cutters now also can provide these keys along with a one time programer at an inflated rate, meaning it's in there best interest to not program outside keys. I'm very much set on NOT playing ball. I am considering just buying new lock cylinder for the ignition with keys already cut. Can install that and program to PATS system in my Ford. O detest companys taking advantage of people, especially old people on very limited income like myself. It's understandable to want to make money, a profit. But these outfits are over the top. Knowing how much the pay for key blanks and the little programers versus what they charge, holy cow! And I'm taking into consideration they have invested in equipment, and software.

I paid the dealership to cut and program these keys, The Keys will not keep programming. 9 out of 10 attempts to start result in Theft ligh alert and system lock. 1 out of 10 or so it works. Waste of money.

Bought this product in November 2022. Then I just took my car into the local Ford dealer to have them program the key to work on my car. And they were not able to program it. Does not work on 99-04 mustangs.I would love someone to help me return this item please.

They could not be programmed at the dealership, so are only good for opening the doors. It did come across the screen that these would work for my vehicle, but did not say only to open the doors. Had to pay for the locksmith to come to the dealership to cut these, then come back to cut some real ones that do work. Purchased the fobs also. The fobs programmed, one worked for almost a week, then sometimes, now not at all, the other one is still working as of today, about a month after I had them programmed.
