Don't buy these. They will break. I was tightening the bolt pictured, and it snapped. I only did touching + a half turn, but it still snapped! I doubt these will hold up to actual use

This is more of a budget target hanger in my opinion. Not the greatest piece but it will do the job. The metal and hardware is cheap and the way it hangs up is a bit clunky and over complicated but understand that it would be completely covered up by a steel target so it will work. You could just put one of the bolts in and hang it on a 2x4, but ideally you want to measure and drill holes for the 2 bolts that it comes with. There are better designs out there but for what you're paying for this unit this does work and will do the job. 4 stars because it's a good bang for the buck.

This is a very sturdy, all steel, target holder. I picked up an AR500 circle target, that had a square cut hole, from my local sporting goods store. I was able to install it easily. Next I'll be adding this to a 2x4 which I plan to add legs to using a bracket that will allow the whole thing to be disassembled easily for transport.The spring on the back of the bolt should work great as an impact absorber, preventing the full power of the round from transferring to the stand. This will add longevity to the target stand as a whole.
