For what it is, I like it so far. Initially mounted it onto a 3/4 HP, 1/2" arbor grinder - didn't work at all, wayyy too under-powered. Switched to a HF 1 HP, 8A, 5/8" arbor grinder and it looks to have proper amount of power and runs smooth. Setup was easy with a 5/8" arbor and the fly wheel runs true. Just got it set up and will put it to work to see how it holds up. Definitely a MT knock off and will have to see if the bearing holds up. Don't put it on anything less than an 8A motor with 5/8" arbor or it will just bog down. Price is definitely right though. Good step up from a 1x30 inch belt grinder without breaking the bank.

Doesn't fit my 5/8 arbor grinder. Mounting hole is too small, screws are too small and too short. Sent a message to the seller and they were very responsive and helpful, in spite of Amazon's interference. They put in a genuine effort to solve the problem.

The belt would not track properly on the first unit. The company sent me a replacement within two days. This unit is actually rather expensive considering its sheet metal construction. The grinding surface can easily be bent, which would cause the belt not to track properly. So far the replacement is working.

I’ve been using this for a few months now. It’s held up really good. The grinder still has good torque with the belt. And it runs pretty fast.
