The most accurate way to confirm whether this thermometer fits your smoker grill is to see if there is a 13/16 inches mounting hole on the lid, where the 1/2 NPT can be installed.
Please Note：
To ensure product safety at the high pressure caused by rising temp of the grill, its structure cannot be fully sealed to absolute water proof.
Hence, even though the gauge can resist instant splashing and dropping water, it is better to prevent it from being exposed to the rain or soaking in water.

The Smokey Joe thermometer was broken on my grill when I received it for a birthday gift years ago. I didn't complain, as it was a gift. Years later, I finally replaced it and added the second thermometer. Both work great and read well. Rained a couple of times while the grill was out and they did not fog up.

First, it is replacing a unit that is no longer manufactured. Had to purchase two more washers and it fits like a glove. Haven't cranked it up yet, but I feel like it will work. Really like the large dial and the materials are industrial grade. Think it's it gonna work!Update: It works great and the large dial is so easy to read. Really has upgraded my grilling experience.

Oversized face works well reading a t a distance. What's a monitor from inside the house. Seems quite accurate after using it free times

My Pit Boss grill is about 5 years old and the lid temp gauge was getting cloudy and hard to read. The OEM replacement cost was at least twice the cost of this gauge. Installation took 3 minutes, you just need a crescent wrench for the nut under the lid. It's easier to read and looks nice.

My grill was not pre-drilled for a thermometer. You will need a 13/16 inch drill. It also helps to have a Dremel to clean up burrs after drilling.

I bought this as a second thermometer to go on my Oklahoma Joe bbq alongside the one that came with the bbq. It's perfect for what I need and I'll probably end up buying a second one to get a matching pair. Temperature reading seems accurate and the needle movement is very smooth compared to the one supplied with the BBQ. Overall good quality and good value for money

After my old thermometer died, I found this one - that was perfectly sized for the spot on my BBQ. The only problem I had was that this unit required a much larger hole in the BBQ for the base of the probe (the threaded part) to fit through. Had to drill it out... but in the end it looks great. Pics show old one, then the new one installed.
