I’ve been looking at different dash cams for sometime now. It’s been hard because there are SO many options. I finally took the leap with the Motorsi dash cam and I’ve been pleased with the performance for the price. We’re really into basement bargain pricing is it the current sales price at $59.99 (excluding a 10% coupon). Normal price is $79.99.At just under $60, you’re getting a lot of different features for the money. The video quality is average and the cameras pick up better at slower speeds. The UI for the camera is OK. Pretty basic and takes some navigating, but overall decent. One of the few cameras on the market with the adjustable side angle cameras! A really great feature. In my 2012 Toyota Tundra, I’ve installed this with a power adapter to my rear view mirror. Works well to start up immediately upon powering up the truck. The suction holds up REALLY well too.Overall, the Motorsi dash cam is a value priced unit that has all the features you could want in a dash cam.

This is a nice multi camera system. Resolution is decent. I’m going to test some night and daytime shots and post them soon. The camera controls are easy to use and setup is pretty easy. I used a kit to power mine off the rear view camera power so I didn’t have to run power from the fuse panel. This made the install take just a few minutes. I didn’t add the rear camera yet but the will be a little more complicated but the made it so you can run the wire then connect a connector making it smaller and easier to run.The suction mount worked great but the tab to remove the suction cup is a bit small and difficult to grab. I was worried I might tear it off but it was ok after I realized I needed to reposition. The twist lock on the suction cup works well.

This dash cam is great because it records forward, 2 adjustable cameras for the interior, and an optional camera for the rear that can double as a backup camera. It comes with an SD card, and has multiple recording options such as a G sensor which stores recordings that cannot be deleted in case of an accident, audio if desired, and automatic recording when the engine is running (Likely a voltage sensor). It does have an internal battery to record for a short period after the car is turned off too. The camera quality is okay, and to be expected for the price point. Some criticisms: The menu is not intuitive, so take some time to learn how to use it and get your options set up. The instructions do help but they are translated so they are not the best of english. Lastly, the suction cup is undersized, I am finding the camera hanging from the wires after sitting overnight. I am thinking of using double sided tape to attach to the windshield. Hopefully the seller can improve on this design. It is a decent camera, and for the price it does what it needs to do well enough, with the only downside major downside being the suction cup. Make sure the windshield is clean.

I have installed and used the car dashcams more than ten times in the past five years. I realize that the dashcams are getting better and better while the price is going down. I like the dashcam that can display and record the scenes from all four sides (front, back, left, and right). This dash cam is exactly what I have been looking for. A dashcam with similar capabilities used to cost at least three times more expensive a while ago. So, I think this is incredible value for money. After I installed this dash cam, I tested and confirmed that it worked as described. Its four cameras provide full coverage from 360-degree viewing angles. I have not tested the G-sensor. It was easy for me to install and use it. Overall, this is a relatively simple, but cost-effective dashcam.

This camera unit is a very mixed bag of features and problems. It is not quite a 360% view around the whole vehicle: it has a fixed integrated lens facing front and two side-facing cameras on swivels, so it is possible to get simultaneous views to the front and down the length of the car, but not a full rear-view.The picture on the integrated monitor is small (approx 2" diagonal) and somewhat grainy even in full screen mode. It's a serviceable color image, although it is difficult to make out specific objects on the screen while driving, so it is more of a distraction than a help while actively driving. My big concern for the unit is it's user interface: the control buttons for powering it on, adjusting settings, etc. are all located along the bottom edge of the monitor and are hard to find by feel. It can be very hit-or miss to get the program to turn off or on or to navigate its windows. If you do want to set the time or anything else, get your magnifier handy: the lettering is shadowed gray-on-gray and very small. As for the recording functions, you have a couple of options: loop the recording in 1-2 minute blocks or let it fil the removable micro SD card. Unless you are a 2005 cosplayer a Bluetooth interface would be vastly preferable interface. It is worth mentioning that it records conversation inside the vehicle, but the indicator for sound recording is not obvious and the function is turned on by default. If you are looking for very basic unit and don't mind the USB power cord draped down your dash, this will probable be Ok. If you want to find one with an easier interface and better communication, keep shopping.
