I was having no success getting my Weber gas grill to heat over 300 degrees. I discovered that there is a safety feature inside the regulator which when it detects a gas leak or other problems will reduce the gas supply and thus case grills not to heat up properly. I tried all the suggested fixes without success so I purchased this new regulator. Took less than five minutes to install, I checked for possible gas leaks using a solution of soapy water and was goon to go. Worked great!

I use this on my BBQ grill, and I love the pressure gauge. For a while I noticed the grill wasn't heating, and the pressure was low, even on a new tank. I had been turning on the burners first. Once I started opening the tank valve first, it works perfectly. The gauge on the regulator helped me solve this problem.The regulator delivers enough flow to maintain pressure in the fuel line, but if the line is depressurized (by turning on the burners first), it can't build the pressure back up.

For my instillation it required changing the connector to my 3 valve gas header. I just swapped my old connector with the new one and tested for leaks. Worked perfectly.

I like the fact it has a gauge, never used in past, but have also ran out of gas while cooking, always keep a spare bottle handy, now will change when see bottle is close to empty and having a barbecue, funny my original regulator on my Blackstone just stopped letting the gas thru and barbecue would only get to about 225f, of course and not sure why, but after ordering the new one, the old decided to work again, I still installed the new one and I could see the flames were more consistent, recommend changing to a new one if have a regulator acting up, so far this one is working great.

I replace my regulator, with this one, and it worked perfectly. Easy to install, a single wrench.

Happy to find a regulator with a built in guage. Easy to install guage easy to see and read. Good value for the monney. Money saver to not have to buy additional guage. My grill is performing much better with this regulator. Old regulator which was original to my grill never functioned properly andI had to buy a guage. This is the way to go with built in guage.
