I recently bought the Pawfit Dog Collar for my Great Pyrenees, and I have to say, it's been a game changer! Living on a farm, my dog spends a lot of time patrolling the property, so I needed something that would keep track of him, especially since he’s often out of sight. The Pawfit collar has exceeded all of my expectations.Pros:-GPS Tracking: The real standout feature for me is the GPS tracking. I can always know where my dog is, even if he's out in the back fields or wandering near the woods. The tracking is precise and updates regularly, which is a huge peace of mind for someone who has a large working dog on a farm.-Durable: The collar is built to withstand rough conditions. My Great Pyrenees is tough on gear, and this collar holds up to all the elements — rain, mud, and even scratches from brambles. It’s sturdy and comfortable for him, with no signs of wear after weeks of use.-Long Battery Life: Another big win is the battery life. I can go several days without needing to recharge, which is important when you’re out in the field. It’s really convenient for days when we’re working long hours, and I don’t have to worry about the collar dying on me unexpectedly.-Easy Setup and App Interface: The Pawfit app is easy to set up and navigate, and I can track my dog from my phone. It’s intuitive, and setting up geofencing zones (so I can get alerts if my dog leaves certain areas) was a breeze.Cons:-Size and Fit: While the collar works great for my large breed, it might not be as well-suited for smaller dogs. If you have a smaller dog, it might be a little bulky. However, for a big dog like my Great Pyrenees, it’s a perfect fit.-Price: The Pawfit collar is a bit on the pricier side, but for the features and reliability it offers, I believe it’s worth the investment, especially for someone with a working or farm dog.Final Thoughts:I’m so happy I purchased the Pawfit Dog Collar! It’s given me the confidence to let my Great Pyrenees roam freely without worrying about his whereabouts. Whether he's guarding the livestock or enjoying a run through the fields, I can track him with ease and know he's safe. Highly recommend it for anyone with a large or active dog, especially those living in rural or farm environments! [In the picture he also has an apple tag on because our kids love to track him on their iPads]

Had a few issues with the wifi but figured out what the problem was so now it is working good. Easy to attach to any collar, easy to remove to charge, and mapping of activity is pretty accurate. Happy with it so far.

This is a very good GPS tracker. It is easy to set up through the APP, keeps accurate location, I really love the fit aspects of the tracker as it measures steps, calories and has fit badges! If you love keeping track of fitness this is great! The only thing that I do not like is the size, I would prefer if the tracker was smaller my dog is 15lbs so I think that it is a slightly large for his size. I do alternate between the Pawfit collar or the Pawfit harness depending on our activities for the day and he only wears the tracker outside. I did have an issue with the battery, but I contacted Pawfit and they quickly had a solution for me. They are friendly and quick to respond. They seem to care about pets and their customers!

I bought two for my dogs and they were kind of a pain to set up, plus the connection is weak in my area, half the time they don't even register with the app and both have glitched out. After charging them and they started constantly saying the power on phrase over and over again. I had to let them die over a week to charge them again to get them to work again. The monthly cost is not worth it for the quality of the service.

Software is easy to use and intuitive. Location is spot on. We left one in our camper on the mountain last Sunday (doubles as a trailer air tag) and the battery is still over 40% on Friday afternoon! Coller attachment is very secure, even for burrowing dogs.Highly recommend. We have two wienerdogs that are avid hunters but hard to see in sagebrush or dense tree covet- the Pawfit is a great stress reliever.

This product does its job when it works. I've only had it for a week so far, paid the subscription for one month, and it already had some kind of network problem. They did send out an email notification that says there was an issue and that they are working on it. Also it seems to have gone offline maybe about twice for no apparent reason. They may have had network issues with the gps, but it should not affect the bluetooth or wifi functionality, right? This device was sitting at home and then I put it on my dog for a walk, and nothing was updating even though my phone was nearby.Another time, I find the device not responding on the app. So I tried to restart the device and did the long press on the button. The logo lit up in red for maybe at least 5 minutes. I thought it was broken because it usually says "Goodbye" within 15-20 secs, and gave up on it. And then it just randomly said "Goodbye" as I was talking to a relative of mine mid conversation and scared me.Lastly, whenever I turn on the device, I believe it's supposed to say "Hi, welcome to Pawfit", but between the words "welcome" and "pawfit" there's a bit of discord or static in the recorded voice that it sounds like "welco....fit". I know it's a minor detail, but it just makes me feel like the quality of this product is pretty low.Overall, this product has been very unstable and unpredictable for me and I hope they can improve on its stability.

Our Bedlington Whippet whilst in Kennels had a serious first fit so finding a reliable tracker for him became essential for our walks. His recall is very good, I spent months working with him. He is a Sight Hound/Lurcher and they are are not the most reliable dogs when off the lead as they have such a strong prey drive. However he can't come back if he is having a fit, also how would I find him? We live in a very remote part of the country and I walk him in the open fields surrounding our home. He lives to run at speed, he can be the other side of a field in seconds and the thought of trying to find an unconscious dog in a huge field was a massive worry. The Pawfit 3 after a lot of research seemed to be the best buy. The cost of the tracker doesn't include the years subscripton but for roughly £100 (including years Subscription) you get an excellent piece of kit and peace of mind. The tracker is very well made and comes with an attachment mounting you can fit to your dogs collar or harness. I have fitted the tracker to his 'Ruffwear' harness (see picture). Spare mountings are available from the Pawfit website and if you have a couple of harnesses it's worth buying some spares as you really don't want to keep removing mountings. The mountings so far I have found are very secure, it is extremely difficult to prize them off the harness once attached another reason to buy spares. I have also fitted the Tracker to his collar if he is wearing his coat and it needs an unrestricted GPS signal, Pawfit recommend the tracker is fitted facing towards the sky. Despite the fact the tracker when fitted to his collar tends to end up facing the ground it still manages to get a strong signal. The tracker has a number of features which have proved unexpectedly useful. There is an audible alarm so should the tracker come off the mounting you can search for it not only using the GPS signal but by sound. I have not had cause to use this feature yet but pressing it also acts the same as his 'recall' whistle. I pressed it by accident and suddenly found my dog returning to me!. It is also possible to use the tracker to talk to your dog, something I have found very useful to remind him I'm waiting for him, works well for our Hound. There is also a light so you can see your dog at night, not something I have used but it's fairly bright even in daylight. The tracker has some great features it works very much like a Fitbit recording his steps, calories used and activity levels. You can set the app up to use either Goggle Maps, Satellite or OS Maps (only in UK). Your dog also gets sent messages to the tracker should he/she achieve their exercise levels. You can also set the Tracker to track quicker than the default settings of 1-2 minutes. I have experimented with both the 40 and 20 Seconds tracking but have found pressing the 'Find' toggle equally just as good. Should he disappear I just press 'Find' and the tracker's GPS quickly finds/tracks him. I didn't see much difference using the faster settings.I only use his tracker on his walks and have found battery life to be very good. We generally do 2 walks a day, a long 1.5 - 2 hour walk in the morning followed by a 45 minute afternoon stroll. The battery charge lasts about a week. If the charge goes below 30% the Tracker sends you a warning but I have used it until it was at 20% without any issues. You also need to remember your phone has a good charge before starting a walk. The only caveat I would say is that before buying check the 4G signal on your dog walks, the tracker uses a SIM card very much like your phone. We are lucky to have a strong 4G signal in our village. But before buying I spent a week walking our routes checking the signal.

We have had this tracker for a while now. It has brought such peace of mind and there have been many times it’s been easier to know where our Cocker Spaniel is because of the app. However today was the first time he got properly lost and was running in circles trying to get back to us. He had run far from us and even managed to cross a major road doing so. I think he got the scent of a female dog because he has never reacted like this with deer. If it wasn’t for Pawfit I don’t think we would have found him as quickly as we did. It took half an hour but I was able to hone in on his location through bush and I kept shouting his name. When I switched on the Find feature you could actually see his movements in more detail. Amazing product and would not hesitate recommending this. It’s waterproof and has survived many a dip in streams and pools of water. Thank you Pawfit! Someone is now warm and sleeping next to the fire. And I am off to have a strong cup of tea after that adventure! Just had to leave this review as I am so grateful.
