It is not suitable for high density Styrofoam, Pearl Cotton, EPS, Sponge, EPP, KT Board, Cellullar Glass. Density and tight foam boards, such as XPS, extruded boards, plastic boards, etc.

The bow cuts well but the wire will break if you apply too much force. Slow and steady only a little pressure is needed. The wand will burn the foam it gets too hot.

Just wished the wire loop was a little large. Was amazed at how simple it was to use. Plug it in and within seconds able to slice Styrofoam, without crumbs falling everywhere.When this one wears out, I will be buying again, and again.

This foam cutter is much better than I expected. OK, it is not heavy duty or industrial but it does a great job. I used it on a very heavy piece of plastic coated foam and it worked great. It was my first attempt and it turned out much better than I expected. I would have given it a perfect score but the power supply is a bit under powered for extra thick foam but for average or light duty jobs it is excellent!!!

Switch is in a bad place; makes it hard to work with even with an extension cord. Did what it was supposed to do though.

Great product, versatile, easy to work with. Used it to cut my 4'×8' 2" thick foam board for my garage door insulation. It's slow but with a straight edge it worked out. It's nice to easily swap out the various cutters. I've used it for 3 projects so far. I'll be using it to make custom packing for my neodymium magnets.
