Everything works correctly. This is a no frills wind meter. It doesn't remember your preferred units of measure and defaults to m/s and centigrade. But that's okay, it was only ten bucks and it works just fine. Good value.

Unit turns off after 3 minutes. No way to defeat that function. Then every time you then turn it back on, you must reset the function to mp/h if that is what you want. Then you must reset the temperature to F degrees. The auto off would be acceptable if the unit would remember you settings and could recall the last max/min that was logged in.

This product arrived and I gave it a quick test for measuring air flow for some ventilation ducts. It worked as expected.There is one very small issue with the build quality. The vane for measuring wind speed is not fully balanced which lowers its sensitivity. For my usage, this isn't an issue. I don't know if it will affect the accuracy.
