This wind speed monitor is highly portable, and it's going to be useful for me to tell what the actual wind speed is near where I live. We get warm wind bursts here seemingly every year, I've always wondered if it's really the wind speed they indicate on the news, now I'll know for sure. What also be useful for sports or wind speed might be a factor or for flying drones, where wind speed can have a tremendous impact on their performance

The Anemometer works well, is east to change between English and SI units. It has min/ max button that shows between high and low wind speed and displays the average wind speed. It also displays temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius it reads within a degree of the thermostat in my house.The screen has a backlight button that is bright and makes the screen easy to read.*Battery life- The batteries supplied with the unit didn't last for long at all after a week I went to use it again and it was already dead. Im sure better name brand batteries would last longer.
