This tool is just what I needed. Makes adding stop collars to your drill bits a snap. No more fumbling around while I tighten the collar set screw. It makes measuring and set up of drilling depth easy and very accurate too. A little pricey but worth it in my mind.

A must have tool for my wood shop and metal shop. Makes adjustments for height on my measurements in wood and metal. Trying to mark with ruler always was a little off at the end of drilling or cutting. This tool is very accurate for my needs and faster. I would recommend tradesmen to have in their shop. Paul

for the price I bought this because I was anticipating that there were some plastic parts involved. But this product is all metal and seems to be a good product for the price. Definitely happy as this helps me with my wood shop projects.

When I first got this I couldn't figure this out. The numbers for side with the "V" stated at 4. Then realized it was assembled backwards. My particular unit needed to have the end cap Allen screws removed and the slide flipped around. Not sure if all were assembled this way or I was the lucky one. Other than that I am not sure where the production cost is here. They are sure saving on quality control.

Well made BUT calibration of 0 not possible, the thumb wheel protrudes beyond the base. See first image.Great presentation of tool in a well padded tin.Still, would recommend even with that silly oversight.Might see about getting the thumb wheel turned down.
