For a very reasonable cost, this compact and portable package incorporates an oscilloscope, signal generator, and multimeter. Comparing measurements with my other equipment, it appears to be very accurate and stable. No, it isn’t lab quality, but for amateur radio, household electronics, and other serious hobbyists, this puts a lot of capabilities in your hand. The instruction manual is not easy to understand, but there are YouTube videos (search DSO3D12) that show the tricks to operation. After that, the manual makes a bit more sense. Only had it about a week, but what I’ve learned so far has been great.

the DMM functions just fine, but the O-scope it total baloney. reading a 9v battery with DC o-scope mode says 60hz, a waveform, and - wait, what? 63 volts!? happens with other stuff too.

Well, this meter/scope arrived w/o any kind of documentation. But everything is pretty straight forward - not hard to figure things out, but some kind of Manual would be nice (hopefully). Doesn't appear to be downloadable anywhere I can find.So far, my only other fault is that one cannot run in the multimeter mode while charging the internal battery (charger cable MUST be disconnected from meter). I understand the rational for this, but most other combined multimeter units allow for the operator to make this decision - but not here (a manual may help w/this). It does seam to be an overly protective situation which is forcing this requirement. My meters/test equipment are often left on for days at a time, but my DC charging source is isolated/protected in all cases, but that makes no difference with this meter/scope. This will be a deal breaker for me if I can't find a work around, I see a return to Amazon in Dec or January (dam glad to have the extra return time w/this purchase).

How to hook to external monitor as shown on this web page ? Manual is ok so far.Early days to fully check this out. Will get back.

It does what I expected it to do in a small reasonably priced package. The scope the multimeter and signal generator aren't perfect but the combined package makes it a portable goto device.
