Used this for a few cuts for a small project needing a couple of vents. Totally solid for a cut into thin plywood, and into hardwood. Not a tool for long term use, not sharp enough. BUT, for the price and if you have a handful of cuts to take care of without investing $40, this saw did just fine for me. Toss it at end of the project- fair value for cost and performance.

I recently purchased the GARHWAL 1-3/4 in. Bi-Metal Hole Saw Drill Bit, hoping for a reliable solution for my drilling needs. Unfortunately, I found the overall quality to be inadequate. While the bit claims to be versatile and capable of cutting through various materials, it struggled to create a perfect hole with the required diameter.This lack of precision, in manufacturing, is particularly concerning when drilling holes meant to prevent leaks in liquid applications. The manufacturing quality seemed substandard, leading to inconsistent results. If you need accurate, clean holes, I would recommend looking elsewhere, as this product did not meet my expectations.

Used to drill a hole in the transom of my little aluminum boat so I could install a drain. No problems.

The cutting part is fine. The bits are the most brittle I've ever seen. I am cutting into very light gauge aluminum and lost two bits within 1/2 hour. Worse is that the saw then goes off track. I'm keeping these and replcing bits with my own. You are taking a chance if you use the bits that come with it. Also the spring thing is silly. Does nothing.
