Simply unwrap the desired length, cut, stretch and create. Some glass artists prefer the more simplified look of Flat U lead came. Unlike Round U lead came, it has a flat bottom. Face measures 1/8". Standard 5/32" channel. Approximately 54 feet long.

Product was as expected. But what was GREAT about it was the packing it came in. A nice plastic spool that kept it rolled very nice and neatly. Also great for storing and for working from.

I'm still a copper-foil girl. But for some pieces, I combine foil for inside pieces and lead came for that exterior edge so that it looks professional and will last for years. If I can work in decorative wire detail, all the better, to reinforce longevity while adding strength. In the 3 lb spooled roll, I just lay it on my work table and wrap my piece as I let the roll slide with ease to my desired length. How convenient!

I mostly do small pieces so this lead on a spool really works well for me and storage is easy. I'll definitely purchase this again.

This is the third time I’ve ordered this came but the first time this ever happened. It was in a good sized box with no defects so it didn’t happen during shipping.

Outer two loops of spool were twisted and gnarled, not usable. Doesn't seem like it could've been damaged in shipping this way so I assume it was rough housed by a customer who returned it or just badly handled.
