Adhesive to ring plate is very strong.The screw cover plate will not stay attached to the assembly, which means that the screws are exposed and can be removed.

I used this to secure my laptop in a classroom attached to a cable to the speaker podium. It gives me some sense of security. At least noOne can just pickup the laptop and take it

This is a decent quality anchor plate. It looks to be a single piece and good enough to DETER potential theft. You do not need to use this as a laptop only anchor plate but you can improvise (tie metal loop to a padlock with the shackle going into this anchor loop instead). The screws are around 3/16†size and don’t use the short screws but get some great shear strength long screws instead. With a crowbar, you can easily pry this off - but again, this is not for high security. I use these to anchor down some items that I don’t want stolen in the home and by using this with long heavy shearing screws drilled into the studs of my walls, it will slow down a thief but will not prevent them from taking. A good alarm, blaring sirens, and these anchors you can slow down a thief enough they won’t have enough time.These will also work with laptop cables that are 1/4†thick but anything more robust (anti cut type) cables, it won’t fit. The anchor opening can accommodate slightly larger than 5/8†vertical, horizontal width being alot greater.Overall a good anchor plate. Has a cover plate so you can’t unscrew the anchor screws obviously, but thick enough metal to deter most in public places (library table, coffee shop table, etc). And price vs value this is a good product for the price.

Ich durfte das Zolunu Laptop Lock Sicherheitskabel testen.Das Laptopschloss passt gut in ein standart Schlossloch am Laptop, in meinem Fall habe ich es an einem MSI GE70 und einem Dell 14" Laptop getestet.Das Stahlkabel ist ausreichend lang um es um einen festen Gegenstand zu führen um den Laptop damit anzuleinen. Am Schloss selber kann wie in der Anleitung ein individueller 4-Stelliger Zahlencode (bekannt vom Fahrradschloss) eingestellt werden. Im Lieferumfang befindet sich auch ein kleines Abstandshalterpad das zwischen Laptop und Schloss gelegt werden kann, um am Laptop nichts zu verkratzen dabei ist auch ein Kabelklett um das Schloss beim Transport immer schön aufgewickelt zu haben.Die kleine Bedienungsanleitung erklärt auf leicht verständliche weise, wie man den Zahlencode individuell einstellen kann.Natürlich ist so ein Laptopschloss nie wirklich sicher, dennoch kann man damit einen Diebstahl hinauszögern oder auch abschrecken. Ich persönlich nutze meinen Laptop auf diversen Veranstaltungen hinter, auf und vor der Bühne (nicht in einem Büro) und da steht er schon auch mal kurz alleine herum, das Schloss gibt einem dann doch ein besseres Gefühl das man das Gerät nicht einfach im vorbeilaufen "entführen" kann.Alles in allem ein tolles Kabelschloss
