I just needed a 3.85mm set to prototype the sizing on a bag I was doing as I don't have a set of this size. I figured I would buy a cheap set to do this and would buy a quality set if I liked the look. For what I was doing, prototyping, they did what I needed them to do but if you are considering buying these to do real work or even to practice with I would not recommend them.The problem with these are the prongs are not polished in the least, in fact, they have not been finished at all. There are still machine grooves in them from when they cut them out. This makes getting the irons out of the leather very difficult and prone to bending the tines, which I did a few times.This brings me to my next complaint, the tines bend pretty easy. I use a Japanese punching pad which is very easy on my irons and they still bent.Overall, I can't personally complain because I knew what I was getting when I ordered them and I knew the application for which I would be using them but I feel anyone using these for a real project or even to practice with would be wasting their money as they will not last except maybe on the thinnest of leathers and would still not produce an acceptable result. If you choose to purchase these please be aware of what you will receive.I understand the draw to purchase these if you are just starting out but I would advise to save up and buy a better quality set to practice with or as a first set as these will disappoint and may sour your leather crafting experience. Kevin Lee Tools makes a good budget set that will set you back about $50 that are far superior to these. Wuta also makes some quality sets for about a hundred dollars that are as good as any on the market. I have purchased both and still use them today.

I have not had issues with these breaking but the teeth were not smooth and I had to spend time sanding down the roughness. Once done I made them in to a 3-4 star item, to be 5 stars they need to be polished.

I had to straighten a few of the prongs out, when these arrived. However, after that, these have been great! Definitely a step up from my diamond chisel sets, as far as presentarion of thread goes!

Teeth are rough.Just received the package and Shocking. It looks like from trash can. Letters all worn out. It might be from 17 century.

Each chisel has at least 1 prong in which the metal at the end of a point was rolled over, making it dull, uneven, and impossible to pull out of the leather without stretching the holes.

These irons were very very very briddle. Two taps with my nylon hammer and all of the teeth bent. I returned these asap. If you're looking to start leather craft DO NOT BUY THESE.
