One of my Epiphone Les Pauls had the pickup switch go noisy. It was a cheap, tiny, enclosed switch and I didn't want the same to replace it, so I ordered this switch. It's very similar to old school LP switches. It was easy to change and solder (I was an electronic tech, so soldering is easy for me.) No noise from switch, just clean sound. It clicks solidly between positions. A definite improvement over the old switch.

This 3 way toggle switch has a nice click to it that is a little harder than some others that I have felt, though I personally prefer the harder switch to something that you can hit on accident. Nice big contacts, though I wish they were easier to solder to as I don't love screw terminals for something like this.
