A really nice, neat package inline breaker, perfect for adding a high amp circuit to a vehicle. I used it to add a high-wattage power inverter to my truck which has a dual battery setup and didn't have a really good place do mount a larger form factor breaker. I literally added it inline, zip-tied it to some other lines going in that direction and it is small and unobtrusive enough that it doesn't get in the way or cause any headaches. So far so good but I haven't directly shorted the line or anything that would cause a real problem either.

I needed to increase the ANL fuse in my 12v battery box from 40a to 50a, and this breaker seemed like a good alternative. The only downside in my case was the need to replace the cables. Still, I like the idea of having a reset-able breaker rather than a replaceable fuse. Overall, this should work great for my application.I used a couple of machine screws & nuts (instead of the screws which came with the breaker) to replace the fuse holder inside the lid of my battery box; this installation couldn't be simpler. The cables I'm using were from an old set of battery jumper cables, and the jacket of the cable was too thick to use the red seal rings so left them off (so they're not visible in the "installed" photo. However, after feeling how stretchy these seal rings are, I may make another try at making them fit over the cables. Edit: Yes, those red rubber seals are very stretchy and do fit for a nice tight seal. Before installing the breaker I verified the continuity/discontinuity when closing and opening breaker - no issues. After installation, manually tripping the breaker also worked well. I don't have a safe or controlled way to pass 50+ amps through the breaker, so I can't verify the 50a rating.

I like the design of this breaker and how it takes up less space inline than a similar boxy style breaker which also requires ring terminals. Of course it's a huge improvement over a fuse in that it can be easily reset at no cost and functions as an on/off switch. The cables are secured with hex screws, tool included. There is a small optional insert inside the clamp to help better secure smaller wire gauges. The cable glands help prevent water intrusion and prevent stress from damaging or loosening the wires. For smaller wires, there is a flexible silicone grommet which helps seal the gland against the wire insulation. I used this with a large 2 gauge battery cable on one side which barely fit the gland and clamp terminal, and was still able to slide the gland over the set screw. The breakers are not adjustable, but are available in a variety of amperage ratings. I didn't test the disconnect amperage rating, but the reset/test switch is easy to use and provides a visual indication of status. The description inaccurately states this is a 2-pole item, when it's clearly a single pole. I'm not sure how waterproof it really is, but I will be testing it in a marine environment and shall see. While I think it's a good breaker system, I think they should be also offered in multi-packs for economy. If they sold a ten pack for half of this price, it would be a great deal.
