I bought this to cheat and bypass my 30 amp RV power system. Let me clarify. I have a 30 amp RV but need to run two floor ACs because my roof unit went out. I melted my 30 amp plug during a heat wave at the power hookup box. I also melted my 30 amp surge protector. Buying this adapter was intended to reduce the power load on my 30 amp plug so I wouldn't burn out my wire and risk a fire pulling too many amps during a heat wave. It worked exactly as intended. The wiring in this 50 amp to 15 amp splitter is 10 Guage on each outlet which is ideal for heavy duty appliances. Make sure to use 10 Guage extension cords for each plug for heavy energy consumption. I don't run anything heavy on my 30 amp rv. I run it all through this 50 amp splitter except my box fans, lights, mini fridge, and countertop oven. Buying this plug will save you a lot of headache but you'll have to run independent cords of 10 Guage for each heavy appliance out to the meter. I really love it. Not many people make such a converter. I looked around. I am able to run a 10k btu ac unit and an 8k btu unit along with the fridge. It has not overheated or become discolored even during a major heatwave with indexes around 115 to 120F. I would buy this product again. It is made well and it is durable.

This adapter fits perfect for the 30A plug in the back of my Chevy Silverado EV LT. It's very durable and weather resistant and it's great how it breaks out into 4 separate outlets!

Worked flawlessly when hurricane Milton knocked out our power. We ran a freezer, a separate fridge and various lighting off the 3 plugs with no issues.

VERY heavy duty cord, (600 volt rated 10ga.) for splitting the 220 volt on your generator down to multiple 110volt outlets. This one is about as good as it gets for what it is.
